When Eddy Current Suppression Ring first broke ground nobody could have anticipated the shockwaves to come. They grew to be influential beyond quantifiability yet when you listen to what they do, it all feels so simple and perfect and obvious. In hindsight. This is probably true of all artists who were looked upon as influencing a generation or few. Demon’s demands. Primary colours. Wet cement. So many things.

Ours is not to provide the spiel that tries to cover the last twenty odd years of life with ECSR. Instead it’s our place to share some new music they wrote and some they didn’t. It’s natural. It’s the sounds of a group who’ve always known what they’re about.
